With Deltarune's fifth chapter on the horizon, fans are eagerly anticipating the newestdevelopments in the story they've followed for nearly a decade. In a game with as manymysteries and cryptic clues as this one, it's not surprising that the fanbase is filled with theory-crafters and fan predictions about where the story is headed.While most narrative questions are likely to remain unanswered until the game reaches itsconclusion in Chapter 7. Fan's are expecting Chapter 5 to resolve a few important ones. Chapter5 is expected to bridge the story thus far and its thrilling endgame, but how that transition willunfold is unclear. So when the Chapter 5 trailer dropped during the Nintendo Direct on June 9, excited fans wasted no time searching it for clues. One trailer detail that caught fans' attention is the presence of a small white, glowing feather.While those unfamiliar with the game might easily dismiss it, Deltarune players recognize its potential importance. In the last chapter, Gerson, a secret boss, reveals to Susie that the dark prophecy cannot be changed through "normal means," but "a white pen, known as hope,'" can "override the dark," changing fate itself. Prior to the trailer, most fans assumed Gerson was speaking metaphorically. Now players will be on the lookout for a literal white pen, which may have major significance to the story. Another question raised by the trailer appears during the battle showcase. Kris is shown battling an obscured figure whose identity has been intentionally hidden.
DELTARUNE CHAPTER FIVE: GATEWAY TO THE ENDGAME?

It could be simply to keep the character's reveal a secret before the game's release, or Toby Fox is giving fans another clue suggesting it might be bigger than just the enemy's identity. The clue come in the form of the enemy's battle pattern. In both Undertale and Deltarune, attacks are character-specific.
Players encounter a unique battle pattern for each enemy. Players quickly recognized the attack pattern of Omega Flowey, the main antagonist of Undertale. Players are wondering if a version of Flowey, or an expy of him, will make an appearance within the Dark World. By far, the most important part of Chapter 5 is its ending and the tone it sets for the rest of the game. Expected in Chapter 5, is one of the most crucial events of the game. The mention of a festival is referenced throughout the game. It is there that some catastrophic event will occur initiating "the Roaring," the prophesied apocalypse. The character who ultimately triggers the Roaring is up for debate. If this predictions is correct, Chapter 5 willconclude with the world of Deltarune facing the greatest danger it has ever seen. Fans will find out when Deltarune Chapter 5 launches on June 24.
